Safety management Council
The Safety Management Council (SMC) is made up of NTA member companies who believe safety is critical to the success of their companies. The SMC was created for the promotion of professionalism and safety in the trucking industry.
Safety Awards Program
NTA’s Annual Safety Awards Program is designed to recognize and celebrate the dedication of our members to maintaining the highest safety standards in the trucking industry. These programs honor those who go above and beyond to ensure the well-being of themselves, their colleagues and the communities we serve. Awards include Fleet Safety, Driver of the Month / Year, Safety Professional of the Year and Knights of the Road.

Safety Meetings
At NTA, safety is a core value ingrained in everything we do. We are pleased to introduce our Quarterly Safety Meetings, a vital component of our commitment to fostering a culture of safety excellence among our member companies. These meetings offer safety directors, driver managers, owners, and dispatchers an opportunity to meet with peers, law enforcement and regulatory partners to keep up to date on the latest regulations, news and best practices.
