Las Vegas, NEVADA – On April 23, 2022, the Nevada Trucking Association announced Warren Wagner, Truline Corporation in Las Vegas, as Nevada’s 2021 Driver of the Year.
Nevada Trucking Associations Driver of the Year Award annually recognizes one exceptional driver for their noteworthy and career-long professional achievements, holding a stellar safety record, and maintaining dedication to keeping the roads safe. The driver is selected from a pool of exceptional state drivers submitted by their company. Each candidate’s qualifications are reviewed by a group of industry safety professional judges.
Warren Wagner, Truline Corporation, has been a professional truck driver for 25 years and has over 2.5 accident-free miles. He has been driving for Truline since 2008.
Warren was nominated for his outstanding driving record, commitment to safety, his passion as a volunteer for “Casting for Kids”, a group that makes fishing trips for the handicapped and terminally ill children from the “Make a Wish Foundation”, and his service in the Navy.
Mr. Wagner was also recognized for his heroic action in 2021. Thanks to Warren and his swift intervention, he saved a man’s life who was having a heart attack. Warren noticed the man hunched over in his car and called 911. Warren stayed with the man until he was airlifted to a hospital.
