Patti’s Bio
Patti Gillette recently joined the Nevada Trucking Association as the Directory of Safety and Member Services. Prior to joining NTA she was the Vice President / COO of the Colorado Motor Carriers Association for nearly 24 years. In that role she designed & implemented truck-related research projects, highway safety programs and training curricula for the trucking industry. Patti also worked for the Western Highway Institute, a regional precursor to the American Transportation Research Institute conducting research.
She is a past member of the American Transportation Research Institute’s Research Advisory Committee and the National Academies of Science Transportation Research Board’s Research and Technology Coordinating Committee.
Patti was named an Honorary Colonel in the Colorado State Patrol in 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Arizona University and a Doctorate from the University of Denver.
