Kim’s Bio

Kimberly Yaeger is the Director of Marketing and Member Relations for the Nevada Trucking Association (NTA). Prior to that, she did practice management and recruiting for hospitals in California.

Yaeger continued her studies in Advance Business Management and Writing at UNR’s Extended Studies Program and received her Certificate in Nonprofit Organization Management through the Institute for Organization Management, a professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Since assuming her position in 2010, Yaeger has aggressively advocated for the members of the Nevada Trucking Association, to enhance the trucking industry’s public image, and developed relations within the community that are not traditionally allied with the trucking industry.

Yaeger spearheaded the launch of Truckers Against Trafficking” in the State of Nevada and partnered with Nevada’s then, Attorney General Catherine Cortez-Masto, in a campaign to educate the public about Sex and Human Trafficking within the State of Nevada. Through Yaeger’s efforts, the Nevada Trucking Association was one of the first in the country to successfully adopt an anti-human trafficking program.

Yaeger was also a key figure in the conception and commencement of the benefit dinner for “Supporting Our Survivors”, raising more than $250,000.00.

In 2017, Yaeger was appointed to the “Steering Committee for the Nevada Coalition for the Prevention of the Sexual Exploitation of Children”.

Yaeger has successfully orchestrated a multitude of events, including Nevada’s and California’s Truck Driver Appreciation Day and the annual Nevada Truck Driving Championship.

Yaeger works closely with a number of agencies, and also serves on the board for “Supporting Our Survivors” and “Secret Witness”.

At the Nevada Trucking Association, Yaeger advocates for the Nevada Trucking Association’s members, oversees membership recruitment, training, events and community outreach.

Yaeger resides in Reno where she enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, volunteering, skiing, bike riding and hiking.
